Process Improvement Manager - Lumber Processing Plant - Base Salary to 110k/year - Flagstaff, AZ
- Our client is a leading lumber processing facility located in the Greater Sedona area. They are the largest, high-capacity sawmill facility in the state.
- Our lumber manufacturing plant is looking to add a Process Improvement Manager to the team. The Process Improvement Manager will be tasked with enhancing operations for efficiency and quality within the sawmill operations by identifying areas for improvement and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead process improvement initiatives across all aspects of sawmill operations – relating to scanning and optimization of equipment
- Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Develop strategies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity
- Lead continuous improvement projects
- Provide training to employees as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in a Process Improvement Role in a lumber processing environment (or similar industry)
- Expertise in process optimization techniques and continuous improvement principles
- Robust analytical skills to collect and interpret data
- Project Management experience is a plus
- Ability to work cross functionally with other departments
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 110k/year plus bonus. Our client is offering a full relocation package to get to the greater Flagstaff area. I was born and raised in York, Pa. I completed my freshman year of college at Towson University. I soon realized Astronomy was not my thing, so I transferred back home to York College to pursue a career in Business. My dad and I brew beer! My dream one day is to open up a brewery with him. If I’m not doing that, I am either reading about conspiracy theories, spending money at Target, or playing with my dog—those are really my only hobbies.
Piece of advice I would give myself?
Always remember money can’t buy happiness; but it can buy you a boat, which would probably make you a little happy. Piece of advice number two: it’s the little things in life that make it worth wild.

Cereal. There is no argument there here, Frosted Flakes are the best.
