Plant Manager – Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 160k/year - Jacksonville, FL
- Our client is an industry-leading plastics manufacturing company. They are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to represent their company. This is a great work environment, and the plant is in excellent shape.
Responsibilities:
- Create a culture that promotes safety as a top priority.
- Monitor KPI’s to track performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement, and constantly evaluate productivity.
- Development, training and coaching of staff.
- individual and team goals for staff and provides continuous feedback.
- Responsible for all operations in the plant on all shifts.
- Conduct timely annual reviews and evaluations of staff.
- Manager budgetary responsibilities, including cost control, inventory, supply chain, and forecasting.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements, implementing best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a plastics manufacturing environment (injection molding strongly preferred).
- Experience in utilizing Lean and Kaizen initiatives to improve plant efficiency.
- Experienced working in a fasted paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 160k/year
- Up to 20 % target bonus
