Planning Supervisor – Building Products Manufacturing – Base Salary to 75k/year – Kennesaw, GA
- Our client is a well-established building products manufacturer and an inspiring global leader in architectural building products with 70+ years of experience supporting a wide range of markets.
- The Planning Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team to plan and monitor operating limits and capacities across 3 manufacturing locations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of production planners and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and training, as necessary.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging open communication and a commitment to excellence.
- Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including staffing needs, materials, and equipment, to meet production targets.
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure prompt availability of raw materials and components.
- Liaise with various departments, including production, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide regular updates to management on production progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, resource utilization, and on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to address any performance gaps and improve overall operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in a manufacturing/production planning role or related experience
- High school diploma/GED
- ERP Systems knowledge
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Supervises staff of planners across multiple locations
Compensation:
- Base salary to 75k/year
- PTO and benefits package
