Outside Sales Representative - Pumps/Controllers - Base Salary to 90k/year - Washington, DC 

• Founded over 40 years ago, our client in the Commercial Pumps, Controllers, Water Filtration and Preventative Maintenance space provides solutions for existing buildings and new construction. They are experiencing tremendous growth and looking to double their revenue within the next 5 years!
• They are currently looking to hire an Outside Sales Representative (internally titled Institutional Sales Representative) to join their team. This position will entail new business development as well as handling some existing clients.

Responsibilities:

• Call on Institutional Facility and Building Engineers to sell industrial products and services
• Outside sales calling on Hospitals, Universities, Colleges, and Military bases in and around the greater DC, Baltimore, and Northern VA areas.
• Attend networking events and participate in industry organizations
• Work with the service team internally to ensure the customers are receiving proper care, and coordinate with the estimating team for pricing and selections
• Engage, communicate and present proposals to potential clients, and close the sale

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in technical or engineered products (HVAC, pumps, mechanical, plumbing or electrical)
• 2+ years of experience calling on Hospitals, Universities, Colleges, and Military bases.
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Washington, DC or VA for full consideration for this position
• Possess a strong mechanical aptitude and interest in plumbing systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and experience with a CRM system 

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 75k - 90k/year range, plus commission
