Outside Sales Representative – Building Materials - Base Salary to 60k/year - Daphne, AL

  • Our client, a nationwide distributor of building supplies and equipment, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover a multi-state territory. 
  • Our client is headquartered out of the West Coast and has been in business for Several Decades.  They are a 100% employee-owned company and have earned a stellar reputation by providing exceptional customer service and technical support to their core industries. 

Responsibilities:

  • In this role the Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling building supplies (roofing and flooring products), to retailers, installers, dealers, and end-users in a multi-state territory.  This is a well-established territory, so the Outside Sales Representative will be primarily focused on developing and growing existing key accounts.  Our client will provide technical support and recommendations for product lines to fit customers’ needs, while developing strong relationships and rapport with decision makers.

Qualifications: 3+ years experience selling in to the roofing or flooring sector. Bachelor’s Degree is a plus but not a requirement.

Compensation: Our client offers a base salary up to 60k/year, plus a lucrative incentive plan that should take first-year earnings to 100k/year or more.  The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement generous PTO.

It seems like I have always been selling but, I started recruiting while I was in the U.S. Navy and always enjoyed it. That developed into sales roles and other recruiting positions over time.

In my free time I enjoy going to baseball games, dirt track races and NASCAR Races with my family.
