National Sales Manager - Robotics/Automation - Base Salary to 160k/year - Irvington, CA

  • Founded over 30 years ago, our client is an international manufacturer in the Robotics/Automation Solutions space. This worldwide company is looking to expand the team in the US market.
  • They are looking to hire a National Sales Manager to join their California team. This position will focus on selling into OEM’s and Fabricator clients to acquire new and repeat business throughout the US territory (will be a split territory with another representative).


  • Prospect, cold call, promote and sell Robotics, motion control and automated solutions to OEMs and Fabricator customers
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure sales targets are met
  • Travel to conferences, tradeshows, and networking events
  • Travel throughout the US territory to visit/conduct demos for potential customers (25% overnight travel)
  • Provide outstanding customer service and resolve any customer issues


  • 3+ years handling the full sales cycle selling industrial automation solutions/robotics (must have experience selling into OEMs)
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Must live in or be easily commutable to Irvington, CA and be open to 25% overnight travel   
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets with a focus on new business development
  • Understanding of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite


  • Base salary in the 110k – 160k/year range plus commission
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, PTO, 401K (generous match), 700 car allowance/month plus mileage reimbursement/travel expenses
  • Advancement potential into a Management/Director level
