Mold Maker - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 40.00/hour - Madison, WI
- Our client is a custom plastics manufacturer offering a variety of solutions to customers including mold making, plastics processing, and engineering.
- They are currently looking for Mold Maker for their team in Madison. The Mold Maker will be responsible for the specialized building, repairing, and maintenance of plastic injection molds & components while working cross-functionally with the internal engineering team as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Performs routine and preventative maintenance on molds and injection molding equipment
- Operates standard tool room equipment
- Performs set-ups and adjustments on all tool room equipment
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot injection molding machines as needed
- Flexibility to work press side as issues arise
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 5+ years of hands on experience in mold making for injection molding
- Plus for CNC programming abilities
- Ability to read/interpret drawings & blueprints
- Background in SolidWorks and/or PC-DMIS is preferred
Compensation:
- Our client is offering a base salary up to 40.00/hour along with relocation assistance to the greater Madison, WI area if needed.
- The team also offers a full comprehensive benefits package including 401k with employer match.

I was born and raised in York, Pa. I completed my freshman year of college at Towson University. I soon realized Astronomy was not my thing, so I transferred back home to York College to pursue a career in Business. My dad and I brew beer! My dream one day is to open up a brewery with him. If I’m not doing that, I am either reading about conspiracy theories, spending money at Target, or playing with my dog—those are really my only hobbies.
Piece of advice I would give myself?
Always remember money can’t buy happiness; but it can buy you a boat, which would probably make you a little happy. Piece of advice number two: it’s the little things in life that make it worth wild.
What I typically eat for breakfast?
Cereal. There is no argument there here, Frosted Flakes are the best.
