Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Industry – Base Salary to 80k/year - Franklin Lakes, NJ
Job Description
- Our client, an expert in energy efficiency and a wholesaler/distributor of HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment for over 98 years is looking for an exceptional candidates with experience in the HVAC industry.
- Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, the Mechanical Engineer will have the opportunity to design cutting-edge heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and industrial projects.
- Review and analyze construction drawings, diagrams, and blueprints for upcoming building projects.
- Create new designs for ductwork and piping systems.
- Determine ventilation needs based on the specific system requirements.
- Work closely with architects and engineers to design heating and cooling systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop innovative HVAC system design concepts.
- Work closely with engineers to design specifications for advanced HVAC control systems
- Calculate energy losses for commercial buildings, identifying opportunities for HVAC system upgrades for energy efficiency
- Conduct on-site energy assessments for large international clients,
- Develop and optimize mechanical designs using AutoCAD software to enhance project efficiency and reduce costs.
- Research HVAC systems to determine most efficient units for upcoming projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (1+ years) in HVAC design, installation, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration technologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Experience with energy modeling, load calculations, and system optimization for commercial and industrial buildings.
- Base salary up to 80k/year
