Mechanic - Construction - Base Salary to 35.00/hour - South Dennis, MA

Our client proudly serves Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts with a comprehensive range of services, including IA septic system services, excavation, and construction.
- The Mechanic plays a pivotal role within the local team based in South Dennis, MA. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a range of trucking and heavy construction equipment as well as ensuring that tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Safety policies and promptly report incidents.
- Troubleshoot and repair construction equipment of all sizes.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Possess proficient welding skills, if applicable.
- Complete daily work orders accurately.
- Submit approved parts request forms.
- Conduct field service repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, consistently utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience with fleet trucks and various construction equipment sizes.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively in team environments.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Must provide own tools and hold a valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
- Possession of an OSHA30 Hoisting License required.
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 35.00/hour
