Manufacturing Supervisor – Injection Molding – Base Salary to 90k/year – Oklahoma City, OK
- Our client, a full-service injection molding facility, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor (internally titled Injection Molding Supervisor) to supervise production staff & drive results to meet company goals.
- In this role, the Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of production workers while checking equipment & machinery to ensure a safe & efficient workflow. This position is 2nd shift; hours are 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the activities of the production floor
- Plan & manage the production schedule and coordinate regular maintenance, upgrades and shutdowns
- Ensure maximum output & cost efficiency and monitor capacity maximization
- Responsible for managing employee performance, hiring, discipline & development
- Lead continuous improvement activities
- Develop department KPIs and hold employees accountable
- Ensure quality specifications are met
- Review reoccurring maintenance and/or repair problems with engineering to determine corrective actions
- Work cross- functionally to achieve company goals
- Offer suggestions for new or improved processes, methods of tooling and quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master Degree-preferably focused in manufacturing, business administration or related field
- 3+ years of Supervisory Experience
- Thorough Working Knowledge of Injection Molding Processes & Equipment
- Excellent Planning, Organizational & Time Management Skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- Experience with Six Sigma Methodology (Green or Black belt) or Lean Manufacturing
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 90k/year + bonus. Our client also offers competitive health and life benefits & 401k. Relocation assistance is available.
