Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing– Base Salary to 85k/year – Jacksonville, TX
- Our client, a prominent manufacturer in their industry and established over 30 years ago as a design, manufacturing, and full-service company, is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician for their team in Jacksonville, TX.
- The Maintenance Technician will oversee the management of production equipment, supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, and take primary responsibility for managing both major projects and minor renovations, with a focus on ensuring high-quality construction, efficient maintenance, and cost-effective operation of the building’s production equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain production equipment, supervise and coordinate all onsite maintenance
- Identify requirements, including production equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and water systems
- Make necessary adjustments to production equipment and programs
- Safely and accurately set up and operate machines
- Collaborate with company employees to offer support and training on production equipment
- Identify and contribute to the implementation of improvements in production equipment and onsite maintenance
- Serve as an information source to various departments for continuous improvement of production system efficiencies
- Assess and resolve manufacturing floor issues, implementing solutions to prevent reoccurance
- Support and administer production workstations
- Provide focused technical functional expertise
Qualifications:
- Mechanical abilities
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Building operations experience
- Technical capacity and knowledge of computer applications specific to production equipment
- Computer based maintenance management system experience
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 85k/year
- Full comprehensive benefits package
