Maintenance Manager – Plastic Products Manufacturing – Base Salary to 110k/year – Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:

  • Implement/manage facility’s maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance, installation of guarding/safety features
  • Maximize reliability and efficiency of plant production equipment (extrusion/blow molders, downstream equipment) and auxiliary systems/equipment (chillers, compressors, blenders, HVAC, etc.)
  • Direct , supervise, and develop subordinate maintenance personnel (maintenance technicians, HVAC techs, Electrical-PLC techs)
  • Direct installation of new equipment and systems
  • Manage maintenance budget to achieve facility’s financial goals
  • Determine root causes of equipment failure and develop processes to minimize downtime
  • Research equipment and processes and make recommendations to meet future needs
  • Prioritize and direct activities and assignments of subordinate personnel
  • Maintain compliance with Company policies and procedures regarding conduct, performance, safety/OSHA requirements, and compensation of employees

 Qualifications:

• A plus for a BS/BA Degree but will consider based on having the below experience

  • Must have at least 5+ years maintenance management overseeing multiple shifts of maintenance employees within a high-speed heavy-industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge Blow Molding or Injection Molding machines & auxiliary equipment is highly preferred but will consider other heavy-industrial manufacturing industries also.
  • Requires a very visible & Servant Leadership style working out of the floor training & leading by example.
  • Can-do attitude using hands-on working knowledge while performing & overseeing machine troubleshooting, maintenance, PMs, and repair using knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, OSHA, auxiliary equipment, and related systems. (Chillers, Compressors, Conveyors, Blenders, HVAC, etc.)
  • Experience working on capital projects for machine installs, upgrades, or plant expansions.
  • Proven success at building, training, and coaching direct reports for success at the workplace…a plus for implementing training programs for employee succession planning.
  • Professional able to work with others at all levels of seniority from hourly employees and other managers to board meetings with Execs, Customers & Vendors.

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 95k – 110k/year range, flexible dependent on experience
