Logistics Sales Executive - 3PL Fulfillment Company - Base Salary to 60k/year - Chicago, IL
- Founded over 35 years ago, our client in the 3rd Party Logistics industry provides warehousing and fulfillment services to businesses nationwide. Experienced in the outsourcing space, their solutions are designed to help companies build and maintain relationships with their customers.
- They are currently in growth mode and looking to add an experienced Logistics Sales Executive to the team. The intention is to groom this position into a Leadership role which will entail hiring and managing a sales team within 1+ year of joining!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain carrier relationships, offering custom, and out-of-the-box transportation services
- Work directly with the CEO to train and learn the day-to-day
- Negotiate rates and handle freight billing with carriers
- Mixture of proactive sales calls as well as going out in the field to develop new opportunities
- Forecast sales and pipeline through their internal software platform
- Take accountability in ensuring each job is being completed to the requirements communicated and drive revenue results
- Ensure any problems are resolved with customers
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of full sales cycle experience in the logistics industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to check into an office in Chicago, IL
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 50k - 60k/year range plus commission
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability, 401k with a company match
