Logistics Manager - Consultative Logistics Company - Base Salary to 100k/year - Miami, FL
- Our client, a logistics company, serves customer with their supply chain needs from the beginning of the process to the end. Already establish internationally our client is expanding their team in the US. They are looking to add a Logistics Manager to the team!
- The Logistics Manager will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with shippers and carriers, becoming a trusted partner in their freight transportation needs.
Responsibilities:
- Managing Transportation needs for those clients.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with carriers to ensure maximum value and efficiency.
- Tracking transportation requirements for clients
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Leverage your industry knowledge and network to identify new business opportunities and expand the company's reach.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations, applying this knowledge to enhance service quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Must have a degree(s) in Transportation or 5+ years’ experience.
- Proven track record of success, with a book of business generating consistent revenue.
Compensation: Base salary in the 80k – 100k/year range, plus incentives.

I went to Syracuse University and double majored in Marketing and Retail which led to my six years as a Buyer for corporate retailers. My buying background has been a great foundation for successfully recruiting for supply chain/purchasing roles for our clients!
