Key Account Executive – Construction – Base Salary to 140k/year – Chicago, IL 

  • Our client has been in business for more than 60 years! They are a professional services organization focused commercial construction management and national facility repairs and maintenance throughout the Midwest. 
  • The Key Account Executive will be a driving force for repeat and new clients within multiple markets. You will find and qualify leads for the construction and facilities departments and convert them into viable/new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute business development plan.
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and to sell the full-service portfolio of our client’s various service offerings.
  • Manage a pipeline of business through the various stages of discovery, qualification, and bidding.
  • Coordinate introductions of new clients to other departments throughout our client’s organization.
  • Maintain communications with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction remains at an all time high and allow the opportunity for future business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of substantial experience demonstrating success in business development in a service-related industry.
  • Demonstrated history coordinating the sales process involving multiple team members.
  • Demonstrated network of decision makers throughout the construction/service industry.

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 120k – 140k/year range with bonus potential
  • Benefits include:

It seems like I have always been selling but, I started recruiting while I was in the U.S. Navy and always enjoyed it. That developed into sales roles and other recruiting positions over time.

What do you do for fun/spend your free time?

In my free time I enjoy going to baseball games, dirt track races and NASCAR Races with my family.
