Journeyman Electrician - Residential Servicing Company - Base Salary to 83k/year - Milwaukee, WI
- Our client, a trusted name in the Milwaukee Area since 1989, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to work day shift (Monday - Friday) with a strong background primarily in running wires, hooking up furnaces & A/C Units, as well as connecting generators to residential homes.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and applying blueprints and technical diagrams
- Using various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools
- Installing or replacing wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers and other electrical devices
- Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in homes and businesses
- Adhering to state and local building regulations
- Completing work orders on time
- Documenting the work completed and materials used
- Working with other electricians, general contractors, architects, and other team members
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the field as an Electrician
- Must have own set of hand tools (Power tools will be provided)
- Strong understanding of wiring, circuits, and other electrical components
- Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems
- Understanding of local and national codes, regulations, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Experience with Generator Installation is a plus!
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 62k - 83k/year range
