Insurance Operations Manager - Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 110k/year - Columbus, OH

• Our client, a growing insurance agency focused on providing custom insurance solutions for real estate investors is looking for an Insurance Operations Manager in the Columbus, OH area. They service individual investors, conglomerates, bulk REO holders, wholesalers, and lenders.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement foundational operational workflows for small Commercial E&S products from submission to policy issuance.
  
• Create and maintain comprehensive SOPs, focusing on scalability from day one.
  
• Develop quality assurance frameworks to maintain operational excellence as volume grows.
  
• Collaboratively build operational playbooks that can scale with the business.
  
• Act as the operational product owner, representing underwriting needs to the engineering team.
  
• Translate insurance operations pain points into clear technical specifications.
  
• Drive product roadmap for operational efficiency improvements.
  
• Lead UAT efforts for new features and system enhancements.
  
• Balance quick wins with long-term architectural needs.
  
• Establish baseline operational metrics and KPIs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial insurance operations experience, with deep understanding of insurance operations.
  
• Proven track record implementing or optimizing insurance processing systems.
  
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership mentality.

Compensation:

• Base salary to 110k/year
  
• Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision. PTO, Paid Holidays, etc.
  
• New location opening in Columbus! You will work remote until office is built, then hybrid (3 days in, 2 remote).
