Commercial Lines Account Manager - Independent Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 60k/year - Chalfont, PA
  • Our client, a small family owned and well-established independent insurance agency in the Chalfont, PA area, has an immediate need for a Commercial Lines Account Executive. Since their inception 35+ years ago, they have developed an excellent reputation for providing a client-focused solutions and customer service for commercial and personal insurance needs.

Responsibilities:
  • The Commercial Lines  Account Manager will be a key player to the team. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be instrumental in managing and expanding the agency's commercial property and casualty insurance book through servicing, marketing, and sales support. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will primarily be servicing the agency’ s generalist book of business, roughly $2.5M in premium, consisting of manufacturers, distributors, technology, transportation, contractors, D&O, E&O, small bops, cyber, etc. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will manage the renewal process as well as convert call-in leads to sales. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will prepare and process certificates of insurance, upsell and cross-sell current customers, prepare endorsements and invoices as needed, along with other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Current P&C (Property and Casualty) License required.
  • Knowledge of AMS360 a must.
  • 3+ years commercial insurance experience in an independent agency setting.
  • Personal Insurance also required.
  • Employee benefits/health insurance and license, a plus.

Compensation:
  • Base salary in the 45k - 60k/year (flexible depending on experience).
  • In addition, the agency offers a $401k with a 3% match, generous PTO, paid holidays, life & disability insurance.
  • The role is in-office until caught up to speed and then hybrid. 3 days in, 2 remote.
