Insurance Agent - Family Owned Independent Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 70k/year - Fairfield, NJ

• Our client, an independent agency with almost 100 years of experience, is looking for an Insurance Agent to join their growing team in Fairfield, NJ. • The Insurance Agent will successfully sell and service both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance. The Insurance Agent will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering top-tier customer service to individuals and businesses alike.

Responsibilities:

• Generate new Personal and Commercial Lines business through referrals, networking, and outbound prospecting.
  
• Conduct needs assessments to recommend appropriate coverage options across Home, Auto, Umbrella, General Liability, Commercial Auto, and more.
  
• Prepare and present competitive quotes from multiple carriers.
  
• Cross-sell additional lines of coverage to existing clients.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience selling or servicing Personal and/or Commercial Lines insurance.
  
• Active Property & Casualty License.
  
• Strong understanding of standard coverage for both individuals and small-to-mid-size businesses.
  
• Experience working with multiple carriers and quoting platforms.
  
• Proficiency in Applied Epic.
  
• Ability to work in office.

Compensation:

• Base salary to 70k/year plus commission.
  
• 3 weeks PTO, paid holidays, and your birthday off.
  
• Medical reimbursement and Simple IRA with 3% match.
