Inside Sales Representative - Wholesale Electrical Supply Distributor - Base Salary to 62k/year - Riverside, CA
- For more than 40 years, our client has been the premier underground utility and electrical supply distributor. This family-owned company was established in 1976 on the principle that excellent customer service and broad product availability are the keys to long-term success.
- As our client continues to experience significant growth, they are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their sales team to promote and sell their products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Process telephone orders, quoting products, prices, and delivery details, and offering substitutes when necessary.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Conduct sales ethically and professionally, representing the company positively.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound calls/emails.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer issues effectively.
- Follow up on quotes and lost sales promptly.
- Provide support for counter sales and will call, handling phone inquiries and order processing.
- Maintain CRM records on leads, prospects, and market trends.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of experience in the underground utility and/or electrical supply industry
- 2+ years of inside sales experience
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 52k – 62k/year range, plus uncapped commission
