Inside Sales Representative - Industrial Products - Base Salary to 26.00/hour - La Porte, IN
  • Our client, a growing industrial supply organization providing construction tools and industrial materials is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (internally titled Inside Sales and Counter Sales Specialist) to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, managing key accounts, supporting branch operations, and ensuring excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with product selection and order placement
  • Provide quotes and follow through with customer orders
  • Handle inside sales and walk-in customers
  • Support the day-to-day needs of key accounts
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through professional service and follow-up
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory, including receiving, inspecting, staging, scanning, packing, and purchasing product
  • Obtain certification for fire extinguisher repair/replacement, if applicable
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment and resolution of customer issues
  • Communicate effectively with the outside sales team and other branch staff
  • Assist with other areas of branch operations as needed

Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient with computer systems
  • Sales aptitude and desire to grow in a sales career



Compensation:
  • Base salary to 26.00/hour
