- Our client is an industry leading construction products manufacturer. They are a global supplier selling to clients from Canada down to South America. They are a U.S. Veteran owned company headquartered in the northeast Ohio area and have seen substantial growth over the last several years.
- They are seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to sell and provide customer service for the products they produce for the concrete construction industry. They are adding to their Sales Team of successful selling professionals because of their continued consistent growth and market share gains. The Inside Sales Account Manager position offers growth and advancement, a competitive base salary, plus an uncapped commission plan, performance bonus, strong benefit package, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Service and sell existing Authorized Distributor accounts while also identifying, pursuing, and opening new Authorized Distributors.
- Construction project pursuits are required; therefore, the sales candidate must have an aptitude for advisory / technical sales.
- A willingness and ability to become very knowledgeable about the products we manufacture as well as those of our competitors is a must.
- Identify new products within the marketplace to add to our comprehensive line-up of products is expected.
- Attending a limited number of trade shows will be required.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is required. College, B.A., or B.S., degree preferred.
- 1+years of inside or outside sales experience within the Construction industry is also preferred, but not required.
- Telemarketing and/or cold calling experience is desirable.
- Distribution sales experience is a plus.
- A customer centric personality is a must while also possessing a “hunter’s” mentality.
- Proficiency with MS Office software is needed.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 50k - 60k/year range
- Uncapped Commissions
- Health, dental, and vision insurance

What motivates you?

When did you start selling and/or recruiting?
I think I started selling when I came out of the womb. Seriously though, for as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed meeting people, making friends, building relationships, you name it. I can’t think of anything I would rather do than sales and recruiting! There is no greater feeling than matching that perfect candidate with his or her dream job! That makes me happy!
What do you do for fun/spend your free time?
I love sports – coaching, watching, participating (much more when I was younger, of course). I have three boys that keep me very busy, and I have loved coaching them over the past ten years or so. Football, wrestling, baseball, lacrosse, and basketball!
Where did you go to school, college, major?
Towson State University (when it was still called Towson State). Greatest five years of my life. I met my wife, I met my business partner, I met many lifelong friends and I had a ton of fun!
What do you typically eat for breakfast?
Depends. Am I in my “all or nothing” workout phase where it’s a Nutribullet shake with veggies and fruits, or is it the other nine months of the year when it’s whatever I can get my hands on?
Who is your hero?
My dad. He taught me everything I know! I learned how to work hard, how to be a good father, how to be a good husband, how to ride a motorcycle, how to sacrifice everything for those that you love, how to deal with terrible situations and make the best of it, and most importantly, how to never give up!
