Injection Mold Process Technician - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 63k/year - Houston, TX

• Our client, a Plastics Manufacturing plant is seeking several Injection Mold Processing Technicians for their onsite team outside of Houston, TX.
  
• In this role, the Injection Mold Processing Technician will support the injection molding department by monitoring critical machines and ensuring processes remain within specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor critical machines and auxiliary equipment daily to improve process metrics.
  
• Prepare reports, collect data, and stop production of nonconforming products as required.
  
• Improve safety and quality systems, including guarding equipment and troubleshooting protocols.
  
• Handle machine startup and shutdown procedures including precision adjustments.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in plastics manufacturing with a focus on injection mold setup.
  
• Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of auxiliary equipment like Thermolators, grinders, blenders, and additive pumps.
  
• Strict adherence to Lockdown Sheets, Procedures, and Work Instructions.

Compensation:

• Base salary to 63k/year (flexible dependent on experience)
