IT Helpdesk Specialist – Manufacturing – Base Salary to 85k/year – Milwaukee, WI  

• Our client, a family-owned, custom molding provider for medical, surgical & healthcare applications , is seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist to ensure that all company computer hardware, printers, networking, and phone systems are operating effectively at all company locations. 
• In this role, the IT Specialist will provide helpdesk support to the company’s users, and will be a liaison with outside vendors.  This position will also handle user support and administration of the company’s IQMS ERP system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide helpdesk IT technical support for all employees.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and service of company workstations, printers, scanners, and other computer peripherals.
• Work with outside firms to manage copy machines.
• Provided employee support to remote area networks, internet, etc.
• Evaluate. recommend, and purchase computers, printers, scanners, other computer products and phone equipment for corporation.
• Responsible for hardware and software standardization.
• Manage contracts with hosting companies, software, and support vendors.
• Manage company’s cell phone contract and provide support to users as needed.
• Setup and support for other non-ERP database systems including SolidWorks.
• Support of the Company’s ERP system (IQMS), including leadership of the following:
• Report writing
• Liaison between employee and IQMS on technical matters
• Have desire to learn the current ERP system, how to write reports using a SQL data base and Crystal Reports.
• Manage company website by working with outside resources.
• Work with Managed Service Partner to evaluate data storage requirements and manage daily backups.
• Manage and support all phone systems of the corporation. 
• Manage software licenses.
• Provide training to users on relevant topics.

Qualifications:

• Requires an associate degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or related field and 3+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education & experience
• 3+ years of experience providing technical support in computer software and hardware applications.  Ability to provide remote assistance to two smaller remote locations.
• Working knowledge of computer equipment, including data storage devices, wireless systems, printers, copiers, scanners, and phone systems.
• Previous experience with administration of databases and ERP systems, IQMS preferred.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft products
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with users.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 85k/year. Our client also offers competitive health and life benefits & 401k.
