Housekeeping and Laundry Manager – Health Care Facility - Base Salary to 30.00/hour – Worcester, MA
- Our client, an assisted living facility located in Worcester, MA is in the market for a Housekeeping and Laundry Manager that will oversee both departments and handles the standard operation relating to cleaning processes while ensuring all standards are met. The organization has a 90 unit facility with over 120 clients that live on site daily. We are looking for a hands on manager that knows how to coordinate work, lead a team and able to find solutions daily. The position is an hourly role between $20-30/HR, direct hire into the organization and works typical hours with some needs for weekends if staff call off.
Responsibilities:
- Position also oversees and assists in ongoing development of the standard of operation relating to cleaning processes while ensuring that cleanliness meets high standards.
- The Housekeeping and Laundry Manager trains, hires, mentors, and coaches housekeeping and laundry associates and is ultimately responsible for the performance of these functions.
- The position requires inspections of rooms on a regular basis and facilitates feedback to associates on the quality of cleaning provided.
- Creates and executes effective staffing and scheduling patterns within facility guidelines. Review and approve department timesheets weekly, adhering to established deadline.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in housekeeping and/or laundry required
- Prior supervisory experience with excellent ability to work with a multifaceted team
- Must be flexible with work schedule as needed
- Understanding of OSHA, cleaning standards and regulatory requirements
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 20.00 – 30.00/hour range, dependent on experience
