HVAC Technician-  Mechanical Systems - Up to $40/hr - Fort Collins, CO

Our client, a strong, stable family-owned mechanical systems company is in immediate need for a well-established HVAC Technican.  The company has been a top player in the HVAC industry for over 50 years and pride themselves on their unrivaled performance and uncompromising integrity. This is a fantastic local company to work for, with a history of success and an excellent reputation.  As this is not a big corporate environment, you will be a key player in a well-run local company…not just a number in a giant corporation. 

  • This position requires the overall essential functions, competencies and skills for a Service Technician, including responding to a heavy workload of service calls, effectively communicating with customers and incorporating solutions.

Requirements for this position include a minimum of 3 years of experience with maintenance of commercial HVAC systems, ability to troubleshoot HVAC components with built up systems and package units such as chiller air handler pump towers, cooling towers, control systems, boilers and air handling systems. Strong understanding of mechanical systems/install techniques. 

Compensation will range up to $40/hr depending on experience, plus full benefit, 401K match, vehicle, gas card, vacation and much more!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

From the time I was a baby, I always had this tiny pink basketball in my hand and a smile on my face.  When I started to grow out of that tiny pink ball, I upgraded to an actual basketball and I dribbled it every day to elementary school with that same smile on my face.  So obviously, my dream was to be a WNBA player!  Unfortunately, I wasn’t THAT good.  I played in college and had the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level which ended up being an even bigger dream come true.  I learned my true passion was for people and helping them reach their goals, which essentially lead me to this career in recruiting.  Now, I don’t dribble my ball to work every day, but I do come to work with a SMILE every day!


When did you start selling?

I honestly feel like I was born to sell, but I really figured out it was a path I wanted to pursue when I was at the beach and visited a food stand on the boardwalk that only accepted cash… I unfortunately did not have any cash, but reallyyy wanted a crab pretzel.  I told the man working the stand, I will get 30 people up here to buy a pretzel from you and if I do you owe me a crab pretzel.  I accomplished my task in about 5 minutes and got my crab pretzel!

What one piece of advice would you give to your ten-year old self?  Spend as much time with the people you love!!!
