HVAC Sales Executive - Leading Mechanical Sales Company - Base to $80k+ uncapped commission - Seattle, WA

  • Our client, an extremely high caliber rep firm of mechanical cooling and heating equipment, has an immediate need for an accomplished HVAC Outside Sales Executive to be based out of the Seattle, WA area. 
  • Our client has an exceptional reputation and is experiencing exponential growth and the opportunities within the company are endless.  They have been in business since 1971 and since then have grown into a major equipment supplier with four offices in the region!  Their strategy for success if to be the preferred supplier in the region by being the best!
  • The role of the Outside Sales Executive will be calling on mechanical engineers, and mechanical contractors. Primary focus will be on promoting/selling Commercial Airside products to schools, hospitals, military, airports, sewer plants and high rises. 
  • In this role, strong sales people with product knowledge and have the ability to sell on the strength of the company and the lines carried is crucial.  This role has trajectory to management as well as ownership stake in the company!!!

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role will possess 3+ years of commercial airside HVAC equipment experience, along with 2+ years of sales success.  They should have strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional communication skills. 

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $70-80k, along with an aggressive, uncapped incentive plan that will take total earnings well north of $100,000 in year one.  Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, 100% covered health insurance for individual, vehicle allowance plus gas, and generous PTO.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

From the time I was a baby, I always had this tiny pink basketball in my hand and a smile on my face.  When I started to grow out of that tiny pink ball, I upgraded to an actual basketball and I dribbled it every day to elementary school with that same smile on my face.  So obviously, my dream was to be a WNBA player!  Unfortunately, I wasn’t THAT good.  I played in college and had the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level which ended up being an even bigger dream come true.  I learned my true passion was for people and helping them reach their goals, which essentially lead me to this career in recruiting.  Now, I don’t dribble my ball to work every day, but I do come to work with a SMILE every day!


When did you start selling?

I honestly feel like I was born to sell, but I really figured out it was a path I wanted to pursue when I was at the beach and visited a food stand on the boardwalk that only accepted cash… I unfortunately did not have any cash, but reallyyy wanted a crab pretzel.  I told the man working the stand, I will get 30 people up here to buy a pretzel from you and if I do you owe me a crab pretzel.  I accomplished my task in about 5 minutes and got my crab pretzel!

What one piece of advice would you give to your ten-year old self?  Spend as much time with the people you love!!!
