HVAC Project Manager - Mechanical - Base Salary to 150k/year - Santa Clarita, CA
- Our client is an HVAC and mechanical construction company handling both public and private projects across Southern California for over 25 years.
- Our client is looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and oversight of construction activities, ensuring seamless project execution and effective management of all subcontractors. The HVAC Project Manager will be working on around 5 projects at a time ranging between 5million up to 30 million.
Responsibilities:
- Foster strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project objectives.
- Review and evaluate construction documents, cost estimates, and proposals to maintain project accuracy and consistency.
- Oversee and manage projects, including new construction, expansions, remodels, and specialized retrofit initiatives.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to secure precise, high-quality deliverables, including drawings and submittals.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules, providing stakeholders with regular updates on milestones, issue resolution, and financial tracking.
- Administer construction contracts and agreements to ensure alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.
- Conduct financial assessments, including value engineering, cost analysis, and contract negotiations, to maximize project value.
- Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements and provide guidance on specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, such as schedules, financial records, and relevant project data.
- Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to design specifications, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
- Partner with the Leadership Team and senior management to enhance facility operations and project management practices.
- Contribute to the selection of equipment, ensuring the cost-effective, high-quality construction of efficient facilities.
- Available for travel up to 40% to support project requirements.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate for this role must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction project management with a specialization in HVAC/MEP. Additionally, a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration is preferred. Furthermore, it would be very beneficial if the applicant was proficient in utilizing collaborative workflow platforms (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, iCloud) and project management software, familiarity with AutoCAD.
Compensation:
- Our client is offering a base salary up to 150k/year. The company also offers a comprehensive benefit package including 70% covered medical, 100% covered Dental/Vision, generous PTO and much more.
