Mechanical Engineer - HVAC - Base Salary to 85k/year - Gillette, WY

• Our client, a reliable and expert company in HVAC repair, and installation looking for a Mechanical Engineer to field quality control, manage projects, assist with HVAC system design.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic to intermediate in-house HVAC system design.
• Perform field quality control inspections to ensure installation standards and specifications are met.
• Review project submittals and operation & maintenance (O&M) manuals for accuracy and completeness.
• Support basic project management tasks including scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors, and cost tracking.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, field supervisors, and clients.
• Identify and recommend improvements in design, installation, and project delivery.
• Assist in building and maintaining company standards and processes as the company scales.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field experience.
• 1+ years of HVAC industry experience (design, field, or project management).
• Basic knowledge of HVAC design principles, codes, and standards.
• Familiarity with reviewing technical documents such as submittals and O&M manuals.
• A growth mindset with interest in future leadership opportunities.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 70k - 85k/year range
