HR Manager - Building Products - Base Salary to 120k/year - Lancaster, PA
- Our client specializes in the manufacturing of high-quality decking and railings to create an outdoor space for any and all styles.
- They are seeking an innovative and strategic HR Manager to lead and support HR functions and initiatives that align their people strategies with their business objectives. In this role, the HR Manager will partner with functional leaders to drive strategies in employee relations, talent acquisition, policy and compliance, compensation, and benefits. Additionally, the HR Manager will champion employee development by designing and delivering programs that empower our team members to reach their full potential, all while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of HR to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Serve as an advisor and coach, facilitating change management and driving organizational growth.
- Coach department leaders and staff on employee relations issues, and evaluate and support employee engagement strategies.
- Manage the full cycle of recruiting, including talent assessment.
- Collaborate with Marketing for online recruitment and branding.
- Establish partnerships with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Manage external recruiting resources.
- Oversee HR compliance processes, including EEO-1 reporting, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of multi-state regulatory requirements.
- Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws, develop and update policies, and provide training.
- Support compensation practices, including conducting research and recommending merit increases.
- Keep job descriptions current and manage the pricing of positions.
- Assist with managing company benefits programs, supporting the annual renewal and open enrollment process.
- Work with key functional leaders on career progression, training, development, and promotional opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in HR management or combination of HR management with strong HR generalist experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification required
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient in leveraging HRMS and other databases to analyze data and find solutions to problems.
- Experienced in managing multi-site responsibilities and flexibly supporting various stakeholders. Ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Highly skilled in MS Office and HRMS, with Paylocity experience preferred. Willingness to travel by plane and car at least twice per quarter.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 100k – 120k/year range
