General Manager – Water Compliance Organization – Base Salary to 120k/year – Green Bay, WI

  • Our client delivers comprehensive sustainable water management to the retail, commercial, industrial, municipal, healthcare and education industries as well as HOAs and multi-family properties. Their expertise includes stormwater and lift station inspections, maintenance, repair, consultations, and emergency response, hydro-excavation, industrial vacuumation and jetting services, CCTV pipe inspections and water quality testing.
  • The General Manager will provide leadership and regional governance over environmental remediation projects for client's stormwater systems with a particular focus on vactor and CCTV services in the Midwest Region.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations of the Green Bay office, to include crews, work-loads, expenditures, revenue streams, and general day to day activities.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports with respect to the established key performance indicators (KPIs) and regional objectives such as: gross revenue, profit margins, and others defined by executive leadership.
  • Implement and execute plans to complement the business unit's strategic and operating plan
  • Interact with customers and local, state, and federal government employees to resolve customer service concerns.
  • Maintain consistency among corporate, division, and vactor teams through documentation and communication.
  • Manage operations to ensure compliance with all standards including environmental, operating, regulatory, safety and ethics.
  • Oversee effective safety and accident prevention programs.
  • Ensure consistent quality of deliverables.
  • Manage Green Bay office/warehouse, oversee and support the fleet management program, repairs, and maintenance, for all Vactor and CCTV vehicles and equipment.
  • Leads a team that provides operational expertise and excellence in contracted and emergency response services.
  • Approves & submits time reports, credit card expenses, and all required project documentation based on company requirements.
  • Maintain long-term account health and relationships.
  • Partner with Business Development team to identify and close new upsell and expansion opportunities with existing customers.
  • Performs QA/QC checks in the field.
  • Communicate regularly with customers to discuss metrics and identify obstacles to renewals.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years experience in management role.
  • Experience in Stormwater, Vactor, and CCTV services.
  • Demonstrated personnel and operations management experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license – up to 25% travel required. (May travel to offices in Seattle and New Hampshire. Occasional travel to field).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines preferred.
  • Microsoft office suite, Dynamics operating system exp.
  • PACP certification and Stormwater credentials a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

  • Base salary up to 120k/year
  • Annual bonus of 15-20% based on performance.
