Foreman - Commercial Drywall - Base Salary to 45.00/hour - Kansas City, MO
- Our client is seeking an experienced Foreman (internally titled Metal Studs and Drywall Foreman) specializing in commercial drywall and metal framing to join their team in North Kansas City, MO. This role requires a hands-on leader with the technical expertise to oversee installation crews, ensure quality workmanship, and manage project schedules efficiently. Procore experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage crews in the installation of commercial metal stud framing and drywall systems.
- Interpret and execute blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure projects meet design and quality standards.
- Plan daily operations, including resource allocation, task assignments, and material management, to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to commercial construction standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to address challenges and align schedules.
- Enforce safety policies and conduct regular inspections of tools, equipment, and work areas to comply with OSHA standards.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a productive and safety-conscious culture.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on progress, hours worked, and any issues encountered.
- Utilize project management tools such as Procore (preferred) to track tasks and document progress.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial drywall and metal stud framing.
- 2+ years of experience in a foreman or supervisory role.
- Expertise in commercial construction techniques, tools, and materials for drywall and framing.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and project documents.
- Familiarity with construction technology; Procore experience is a plus.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 35.00 - 45.00/hour range
