Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 75k/year - Cleveland, OH
Job Description
- Our client manufactures and supplies a range of products in the overhead power transmission and distribution industry as well as telecommunications industry. They are currently looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join their team in Cleveland.
- Assist in preparing company sales plan, global annual plan, and quarterly forecasts.
- Manage the representative commission database, including updates and commission calculations.
- Administer distribution incentives and volume rebate analyses, reporting results to management.
- Conduct sales, margin, and expense analysis, providing insights for decision-making.
- Oversee customer data warehouse reporting using Power BI in collaboration with IT and finance teams.
- Support pricing strategies by evaluating customer and product-level price adjustments.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses and assess regional and subsidiary financial performance.
- Analyze margin performance and recommend improvement strategies.
- Contribute to financial reporting for earnings releases, investor presentations, and regulatory filings.
- Provide business intelligence insights and presentations to senior management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in finance related function
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
- Ability to analyze budgeted and actual financial results
- Technically proficient in PowerBI and Microsoft Office
- Advanced excel skills
- Base salary to 75k/year
- 401k with company match 25% of the first 8% pre-tax dollars for first 2 years
