Field Service Technician – Metal Cutting/Forming Machinery – Base Salary to 30.00/hour – Cincinnati, OH

  • Our client is a well-established industrial machine distributor, specializing in metal cutting and forming machinery. They sell new and used turnkey systems all throughout the United States and have been an industry leader for the past 40 years.
  • They are looking for a candidate for their Field Service Team for the greater Cincinnati area. This role has local travel involved, in which you will be at home every night. Overnight travel is less than 10 days per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily travel to customer sites to perform install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls for customers.
  • Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
  • Help organize and schedule the complete service project, working with other team members as required to meet customer’s expectations.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Industrial electric experience
  • Mechanical experience
  • Machine tool service experience is ideal
  • Experience in manufacturing or machine shops, CNC is desirable
  • Strong interest in manufacturing technology
  • Motivated and results oriented attitude
  • Ability to learn new concepts and how to apply them
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 22.00 – 30.00/hour range, depending on experience
