- As a Roofing Estimator, you will be at the forefront of evaluating and preparing precise cost estimates for commercial roofing projects. This role requires a deep understanding of materials, labor, and overall project costs to ensure profitable and efficient job completion. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver accurate estimates, manage budgets, and uphold industry standards. Your expertise will directly impact the success and profitability of each project.
- Conduct roof surveys and analyze project plans and specs to create detailed, accurate estimates.
- Provide precise cost breakdowns for commercial roofing projects, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
- Engage in materials and labor cost research, ensuring competitive pricing.
- Maintain organized records of bids, suppliers, and project costs.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and vendors.
- Evaluate project profitability and provide regular budget vs. actual reviews.
- Ensure all materials, processes, and safety protocols meet industry standards.
- Manage warranty submittals and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator.
- Expertise in flat, standing seam, and other commercial roofing systems.
- Familiarity with Xactimate estimating software (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and analyze project plans and specs with precision.
- Solid understanding of building materials, products, construction techniques, and industry standards.
- Base salary in the 80k - 100k/year range
