- The Electrical Supervisor (internally titled Traveling Electrical Supervisor) will oversee all phases of electrical construction projects, from planning and installation to maintenance and troubleshooting. The Electrical Supervisor will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to design systems, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This role also involves supervising subcontractors, maintaining budgets, and conducting inspections to deliver successful, high-quality electrical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of electrical construction projects, including planning, installation, and maintenance
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to design electrical systems, create schedules, and interpret blueprints
- Oversee the installation process, including hiring subcontractors and managing work sequencing
- Responsible for maintenance, repair, and capital improvement programs for electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations, and foster a culture of workplace safety
- Monitor project progress and conduct quality inspections to ensure proper installations
- Manage project schedules, material procurement, and budget adherence
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel to projects in NY, NJ, OH, PA, MD, or VA
- Proven experience in managing electrical construction projects, including planning, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction practices.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for resolving electrical issues.
- Ability to travel extensively as required for project supervision.
Compensation:
- Base salary to 45.00/hour
