Electrical Production Engineer – Optics/Electronics Manufacturing – Base Salary to 100k/year - Plainview, NY
- Our client, a well-established Electronics Manufacturing company is currently seeking an Electrical Production Engineer for their Plainview, NY location.
- Our client is a small yet rapidly growing subsidiary of a large global electronics & optics manufacturer that supports the fields of military, defense, medical devices, as well as life science, green & clean technology & law enforcement.
Responsibilities:
- Production engineering and quality focus with the overall goal to improve customer satisfaction
- Work with suppliers and internal team to hone the production process, handle quality deviations, and secure compliance with all company requirements
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with production or process engineering for manufacturing
- Experience with optics, sensors, spectrometers, or medical devices
- Preferably with new product development, sensory and laboratory testing
- Ability to assess manufacturing process and packaging line efficiencies
- Knowledge of Total Quality Management
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 85k – 100k/year range dependent on candidate experience
- 401k with 4% match
