Electrical Estimator - Residential/Commercial Construction - Total Compensation to 180k/year - St. Louis, MO
- Our client is a very reputable electrical contracting company based in the St. Louis, MO area, specializing in both residential and commercial projects. With a solid foundation built on integrity and quality workmanship, they have cultivated strong relationships with numerous General Contractors (GCs), resulting in a steady stream of projects. Their team is committed to excellence, and pride themselves on delivering top-notch service to their clients.
- The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and timelines. Other responsibilities will include estimating for a variety of projects, ranging from residential remodels to commercial installations. The Electrical Estimator will collaborate closely with GCs and occasionally homeowners to ensure project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
- The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate project costs and timelines for residential and commercial electrical projects
- Collaborate with General Contractors and homeowners to understand project requirements
- Utilize estimating software (e.g., BHS, Accubid, McCormick) to prepare accurate estimates
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and potential challenges
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to address any concerns or issues
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an electrical estimator, preferably in both residential and commercial settings
- Proficiency in estimating software such as BHS, Accubid, or McCormick
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
- Master Electrician License
Compensation:
- Total compensation for this role includes a base salary in the 90k – 150k/year range (flexible dependent on experience); and a bonus that can take total earnings to 180k/year
