Division 10 Estimator - Construction – Base Salary to 135k/year – Boston, MA
- Our client, a growing Building Envelope organization, is seeking a Division 10 Estimator to lead all special product sales and estimating across the company.
- In this role, the Division 10 Estimator will be responsible for winning projects that can be successfully completed at the highest possible profit margins.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate, develop, maintain and improve profession standing with general contractors, owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications, determine project requirements and estimate the cost of engineering, materials and labor that will be required to profitably complete the project
- Develop accurate take-offs and quantities of materials
- Prepare accurate estimates of all Division 10 products as well as material, labor and equipment costs
- Gather information to provide accurate pricing
- Review all contract documents including specifications, drawings, and addenda
- Coordinate & review all drawings and details
- Review contract documents for bonds, insurance, job schedule, time frame, warranties and bold requirements, bid forms
- Request all paperwork proactively to be completed prior to bid
- Hold pre-construction strategy meetings with team arrange for site visits
- Review bid, insurance & contract documents
- Determine equipment requirements, subcontractor base, & budget
- Propose potential savings and develop milestones for project completion & present to architect
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Division 10 Products
- 5+ Years of Estimating Experience
- Strong Work ethic with ability to multi-task and focus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Growth mindset
- Thorough understanding of Division 10
- Ability to forge strong relationships with clients to create repeat business
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 135k/year + bonus. Our client also offers competitive health and life benefits & 401k. Relocation assistance is available.
