- The Director of Finance role involves leading financial strategies and operations for a dynamic, global company operating in diverse industries such as data centers, telecommunications, and energy storage.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in formulating the company's development strategy, offering support and advice on both short-term and long-term planning.
- Establish and implement short and long-range accounting and financial goals, policies, and operating procedures.
- Study economic trends, analyze operations, and identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and system enhancement to accumulate capital for expansion.
- Improve the financial and capital management system, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, local statutory requirements, and reporting standards.
- Act as a business partner to the executive team, providing sound financial and commercial advice on operational matters.
- Manage relationships with external entities such as banks, financial partners, and auditors, expanding financing channels and ensuring diversified external cooperation.
- Develop and implement financing plans, coordinate pre-loan and post-loan management, and achieve the company's financing income targets.
- Oversee financial management, cash flow, cost, budgeting, controlling, accounting, and analysis to improve operational efficiency and meet profit targets.
- Oversee risk management, supporting legal document reviews, and ensuring consistency with global policies to minimize commercial and financial risks.
- Lead the finance organization, establish functional objectives, and coach, train, and develop the finance team to drive competencies improvement.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of finance experience in manufacturing, with over 5+ years in leadership roles in multinational companies.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- Solid understanding of US and China GAAP, showcasing technical expertise in financial reporting.
- Strong strategic thinking, finance planning, and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work in a global and multi-cultural environment, coupled with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to speak Mandarin is a must to effectively communicate with pertinent staff members
Compensation:
- Base salary to 120k/year, flexible dependent on experience
