Data Analyst – Construction Materials Manufacturer – Base Salary to 105k/year – Lebanon, NJ

• Our client is a specialty building products manufacturer that provides solutions to building challenges that architects, designers, owners, and contractors face every day. In the business of manufacturing construction materials and products for over 75 years, they are a multinational company committed to improving their building solutions to enhance customer experiences and benefit communities worldwide .
• The Data Analyst (internally titled Product Data Analyst) is a crucial player in their Lebanon office, they are needing someone with experience implementing an ERP system. Currently our client is deciding on which system to implement, and need people to go through the data system to update and clean it up before feeding it into the potential ERPs. This will involve extensive product familiarization and data management, and will involve making impactful decisions on how to set up the product structure, billing, materials and routing, naming of parts, precision of product dimensions, etc. They need experts in data analytics or data management, who are excited to perform this kind of work. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days in office/week on average and some travel on the front end to familiarize the Product Lead with the different inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and manages creation, implementation, and maintenance of product master data solutions to automate and process data from different sources. Responsible to ensure consistency within the overall structure with a strong knowledge of required product master data components
• Manages data governance, data integrity and normalization across business units

• Utilizes Lean principles, Kaizens, KPIs, industry best practices and product information, to increase operational excellence
• Consults with stakeholders on business model, issues, challenges that statistical modeling and data analytics can support

• Develops standards to support robust analytics and reporting.
• Ensures all relevant data is properly organized, consistent, and accessible across multiple systems and applications.
• Operates cross functionally with other business stakeholders to deliver capabilities for business decision support and data management
• Collaboratively organize, participate in and lead cross functional teams to document and maintain multi domain data policies, processes, data standards, RACI, Metrics/KPIs, SLA's, training documentation and desktop procedures across technology platforms
• Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the company's product offerings and product segments to assess the validity of these relationships to ensure accuracy of style setups

• Align on product master data requirements and fields with cross functional business partners to ensure effective, efficient use of data fields in ERP
• Support business process changes and improvements to meet product needs
• Protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of product master data. This includes understanding data security measures, data backup and recovery plans, and data access controls
• Reporting on the status of data governance and improvement projects. This includes tracking data quality metrics through regular audit programs, data usage metrics, and financial variances

 Qualifications:

• Experience implementing ERP systems (preferably SAP or Microsoft 365) and in master data management
• Master’s degree in technical, supply chain, or IT related field preferred, Bachelor’s degree required
• Exceptional computer skills required, as well as experience in data analytics or master data management
• Detail oriented, with strong analytical and decision-making abilities and the ability to quickly learn new systems and products
• Willingness to travel about 15% of the time for the first few months to get familiar with the product lines at various facilities

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 95k - 105k/year range, dependent on experience
