DX HVAC Foreman – Commercial/Residential HVAC – Base Salary to 50.00/hour – Lakeland, FL
- Our client is a commercial and residential HVAC company that has been in business over 45 years. They are seeking a DX HVAC Foreman to join their team. The DX HVAC Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of Direct Expansion (DX) HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of HVAC technicians or installers during projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation and operation of DX HVAC systems.
- Coordinate with other trades and contractors on construction sites to ensure smooth project workflow.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system malfunctions, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Train and mentor junior technicians or apprentices.
- Order materials and equipment needed for HVAC projects and maintain inventory levels.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DX HVAC Foreman or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of DX HVAC systems and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- NABCET certification preferred.
- NEC code instructor certification a plus.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 40.00 – 50.00/hour range
