DDC Controls Project Manager - Renewable Energy Developer - Base Salary to 120k/year - Bradenton, FL
- Our client, a leading cleantech integrator and renewable energy asset developer, owner and operator is searching for a DDC Controls Project Manager to join their onsite team in Bradenton, FL.
- In this role, the DDC Controls Project Manager will oversee and manage DDC control projects around Tampa, FL. The DDC Controls Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful completion of multiple projects related to building automation and controls systems. The DDC Controls Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, vendors, and clients, to ensure the smooth implementation and integration of DDC controls solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal and external resources ensuring the project team has the skill sets to complete the project
- Establish the project’s overall critical path and ensure that all project phases adhere to the agreed-upon timeline
- Assist project team in troubleshooting and finding solutions to unforeseen issues
- Develop and monitor all phases of project budget
- Communicate with stakeholders, team members and other project managers on project status
- Manage customer expectations and proactively closing expectation gaps
- Take ownership of, manages, and obtains approvals for all change requests, particularly regarding scope and budget
- Ensure that project team is adhering to all standards and processes as defined by clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the field of DDC controls systems or building automation
- Strong knowledge of DDC controls systems, including programming languages (such as BACnet, LonWorks, or Modbus), protocols, and integration with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead teams
Compensation: For this role includes a base salary up to 120k/year. Our client also offers great employee benefits such as retirement, insurance, and more!
