Client Relations Manager – Award Winning Search Firm – Base Salary to 60k/year + Bonus – York, PA

  • AllSearch, a 21-year-old Professional Search Firm headquartered Downtown York, PA, has an immediate opening for a Client Relations Manager to join our team to help us continue to provide superior customer service to our growing national customer base. The Client Relations Manager will provide excellent customer service to our clients.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-lasting relationships. The Client Relations Manager will be tasked with checking in with active clients where we have current open job orders being worked and will also check in with customers when their job orders are filled, to see how our service was, and gain feedback on how our recruiters did for them. They will use the phone, video / virtual meetings, e-mail, surveys and other means to ensure the best possible customer service, and to build repeat customers. This is not a production-based job, and no direct selling will be expected from this person. The focus is on providing excellent customer service and building relationships, rather than achieving production targets.
  • This role will not be part of the management team and will not have any direct reports. The ideal candidate for this position will be based in or near the York, PA area.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct check-ins with active clients to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns
  • Follow up with customers after job orders are filled to gather feedback on our service and our recruiters
  • Address any customer complaints and escalate to the Director of Business Development as necessary
  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update customer information in our database
  • Identify opportunities to build repeat customers and increase customer loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the best possible customer experience
  • Provide regular reports to the Director of Business Development and/or the Director of Recruiting on customer satisfaction, feedback and trends
  • You are active & engaged throughout the day (with the exception of lunch and approved PTO) meaning;
    • You are responsive & proactive in your communication with your manager & co-workers during core business hours and, actively seek to collaborate throughout the day
    • You respond to requests from your supervisor & team in a timely manner
    • You answer/ return client and candidate calls & messages within a reasonable timeframe
    • You utilize and respond to internal messaging via RingCentral 
    • You actively participate in weekly team meetings & trainings (Monday, Thursday & as scheduled) with camera turned on the majority of the time & adding value to the conversation when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B environment, in a client relations, customer relationship, or customer service capacity
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable with making phone calls and conducting surveys

Compensation:

  • For this role, AllSearch offers a starting base salary in the 50k – 60k/year range plus a discretionary quarterly bonus based on company performance.

Golf, fishing, geocaching, new culinary experiences and dogs.

What is the biggest mistake companies make?

Not being open to a conversation and allowing sales positions to remain open for extended periods of time. It is not only the loss of revenue from a given territory or market. The cost of losing ground to competitors and having to rebuild a presence is incalculable. These costs are often fractions of our fees.

What’s the biggest compliment a client or candidate ever paid you?

A sales manager once conducted his weekly sales meeting based on his experiences with me and my approach in earning his business. It was quite humbling.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

At various points (in no particular order) I wanted to be an astronaut, a Ghostbuster, a CIA agent, a physicist and Indiana Jones. I am still kind of holding out on being Indiana Jones.

What are the first three things you do when you wake up?

1) Have a concoction of water/apple cider vinegar/secret mystery powders. 2) Feeling invigorated, I proceed to shower. 3) Clean and full of moxie, I take 3 minutes to decide which pair of colorful dress socks will make my day extra special.

What do you typically eat for breakfast?

Yogurt, I am big on the yogurt.
