Customer Service Manager - Pet Food Manufacturing – Base Salary to 80k/year – St. Louis, MO
- Our client, a pet food manufacturer, mission is to help people bring health and happiness to pets through better nutrition with natural and minimally processed foods, complements, treats, and supplements, formulated to the specific needs of dogs and cats. They are looking to add a Customer Service Manager, who will be responsible for the international export accounts, to the team!
- The position is responsible for the order processing and customer delivery tracking with our International business units primarily within Asia, Middle East, & South America. The priority is to ensure an efficient and effective continuity of supply to achieve On-Time delivery (ETD Port Date) from our factory network in Thailand. This includes the weekly processing of requisitions and placing purchase orders, expediting products demanded, maintaining up-to-date purchase order information in the system, and researching import shipping document issues.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing International customer orders and generating commercial invoicing documents ensuring accurate pricing, discounts, etc. Input orders based on specific customer requirements and needs.
- Generate factory production orders associated to International customer sales order for factory direct orders. Coordinate with internal Replenishment and oversee progress of order completion to expected port available due date.
- Work with International Sales teams on country specific import & customs documentation requirements. Coordinate with Replenishment Team & suppliers on timely completion of import shipping documentation with order delivery.
- Coordinate with Logistics Operations & Suppliers to arrange ocean freight transportation. Follow up on order completion by port delivery due date and confirm any required pre-payment terms are met by customer.
Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of experience in Customer Service, Order Management, or related field. International export/import experience is a plus
- College degree is required
Compensation: This position includes a base salary in the 60k – 80k/year range, plus 10% bonus. Full healthcare benefits, remote work on Fridays, etc.
