Custom Fabricator - Millwork and Cabinetry - Base Salary to 32.00/hour - North Kansas City, MO
- Our client is seeking a Custom Fabricator to join their production team in North Kansas City, MO. The Custom Fabricator role involves crafting high-quality custom millwork, casework, and cabinetry to meet project specifications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision craftsmanship, a strong understanding of woodworking techniques, and experience working with custom designs.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom millwork, casework, and cabinetry based on blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Operate woodworking machinery and tools, including saws, routers, planers, and jointers, safely and efficiently.
- Assemble and finish components with attention to detail, ensuring quality craftsmanship and durability.
- Collaborate with the design team, shop manager, and other fabricators to ensure accurate execution of custom designs.
- Apply finishes, including sanding, staining, and sealing, as required for each project.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in custom millwork or cabinetry fabrication.
- Proven ability to create high-quality, detailed work for commercial or residential projects.
- Proficient in using a variety of woodworking tools and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Experience with custom designs and finishes is a plus.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 20.00 - 32.00/hour range
- PTO and Vacation
