Construction Superintendent - Construction - Base Salary to 165k/year - Winder, GA

• Our client is a commercial general contractor specializing in senior living, healthcare, and multifamily construction projects. They are seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and partner with the Project Manager to deliver successful ground-up and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors in their daily tasks and work closely with the assigned Project Manager to ensure overall project success.
• Ensure all jobsite activities comply with OSHA requirements and established jobsite safety standards.
• Utilize Procore for project documentation and field management, including QA/QC inspections, daily logs, drawings and specifications, progress photos, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections using Procore inspection tools.
• Maintain accurate daily jobsite documentation.
• Read, interpret, and build from construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Document and track project progress.
• Manage project closeout and punch list completion.
• Conduct weekly coordination meetings utilizing weekly work plans and Lean Construction principles.
• Review subcontractor scopes of work and assist with evaluating change order requests.
• Coordinate and lead required inspections and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe construction site.
• Remain onsite whenever construction activities are occurring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising crews on senior housing and/or multifamily commercial construction projects.
• Experience as a Construction Superintendent, Commercial Superintendent, Field Superintendent, or Site Superintendent.
• Experience managing subcontractors on commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with Procore Project Management software.
• Experience with PDF software such as Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience utilizing an iPad with the Procore mobile application.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commercial construction safety requirements.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 90 pounds, climb ladders, bend, stoop, work around moving machinery, dust, fumes, and varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to travel to assigned project sites and other work-related locations as needed.
  

Compensation

• Base salary in the 110k - 165k/year range
