Construction Superintendent – Commercial Concrete – Base Salary to 125k/year – Bend, OR

• Our client, a reputable and family-owned Concrete Construction Company who has been in business for 17+ years, is seeking to add an experienced Construction Superintendent (internally titled Commercial Concrete Superintendent) to their team in Central Oregon.  
• Reporting to the owner, the Construction Superintendent will have a critical role within the company and as such this person must have a strong background in Commercial Concrete construction. The Construction Superintendent will be fully responsible for managing all aspects of a concrete projects, which includes managing all materials, concrete supply, pumps, rebar, pt & stud rails subcontractors, shop drawing review, developing & maintaining the schedule, and daily supervision of crews.

Responsibilities:

• Develops construction schedule that keeps the project moving forward.
• Collaborate with PM and coordinate project needs as plans adjust throughout the project.
• Oversees cost management, QA, QC, managing of all materials and daily supervision of crews.
• Produce site-specific safety plan and fall protection plan - ensure crew always follows company safety protocols.
• Responsible for onsite methods of construction – ensuring the most efficient methods are being used
• Schedule inspections, track change orders and writes RFI’s to ensure crews have all current information.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of construction experience with 2+ years as a Superintendent
• Must have experience as a Superintendent doing Post-Tension Elevated Decks.
• Thorough knowledge and background in Commercial Concrete construction

• People Skills - Ability to resolve problems and work with multiple types of personalities.
• Leadership - Demonstrated leadership abilities to uphold company policies and values.
• Technology - Comfortable using Microsoft Suites daily (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project)
• Experience using CAD, Procore and Raken, a plus!

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 125k/year + annual bonus. Other benefits include Health/Dental/Vision, PTO and 401k with company match.
