Construction Project Manager - Roofing - Base Salary to 120k/year - Anaheim, CA

• Since 1968, our client has been committed to delivering high quality Services in the Commercial Roofing Industry. Their understanding of building science enables them to assist in the design process by offering options and solutions for all commercial roofs.
• They are currently looking for a Construction Project Manager for their team in Anaheim. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for all Field Service and Installation Crews.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure each job is performed to specification and up to company standards.
• Ensure safety meetings are held, properly documented and filed.
• Ensure all OSHA safety standards are followed.
• Understanding: Safety Manual, Safety Orientation, Toolbox Talks, Driver Training, Respirators, Fall Protection, Ladder Safety, Heat Awareness, Cell Phones, Fire Protection, Silica Dust, DOT and PPE.
• Go over new hire process: employment application, background check, drug testing, safety orientation training and respirator fit testing at training.
• Go over career plan with employee: Job descriptions and pay scale for the field staff.
• HR Forms: employee manual, Organization chart, Vacation request, Employee manual, Employee evaluation forms, Employee raise request forms, Separation forms, Expense report, policy, drug testing, and dress code.
• Build a new crew member training program that can help the new production team members come up to speed by target dates.
• Training programs should be built with support from SWD, the GM and other sources.
• Review the production job reports budget to actual performance weekly.
• Hire additional production crew members and balance the production team as jobs allow.
• Schedule all production jobs and manage scheduling issues with job contacts.
• Track production crew labor efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Field Team Management within the commercial roofing or construction or related Service industry such as HVAC, Stucco, Cement, etc.
• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of reading blueprints and drawings
• Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, conditions and terms
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 120k/year range
• Strong Monthly Car allowance and full gas reimbursement
