Construction Project Manager - Industrial Construction - Base Salary to 110k/year - Emmaus, PA
- Our client is a GC and Construction Management firm that specializes in large industrial and municipal construction. Operating mostly in Lehigh and Berks Counties, they have been in business over 50 years, and pride themselves on exceptional client service and a knack for specialized projects. Self-performing in site work and foundations, they take on everything from municipal bridge projects up to industrial design/builds.
- In this role, the Construction Project Manager is responsible for the takeoff, estimation, and overall operational and financial success of the projects assigned to them. They work with the General Superintendent to coordinate project resources, schedule, and ensure profitability. They need someone with experience in project management and estimation, preferably in concrete and structural steel.
Responsibilities:
- Download, review plans & specifications and scope for all items
- Request quotations for subs, materials, bonds and insurance
- Perform quantity take-offs, risk assessment and pricing
- Evaluate sub & material quotes pricing and qualifications
- Prepare bid documents, assure bid submission is correct and complete
- Conduct on-site visits, photograph
- Attend all meetings (i.e. pre-bid, pre-construction, progress)
- Prepare and update project schedule
- Maintain job cost and productivity
- Prepare change order requests
- Review quantities and estimates/billing for accuracy
- Maintain project documentation
- Review project financials, prepare all project closeout documents
Qualifications:
- 4+ years Estimating and Project Management experience in large industrial, commercial, or municipal construction
- Experience in PEMB and concrete estimating and project management preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office required
- PE certification preferred, pay would go higher for that
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, tact
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 90k – 110k/year range, dependent on experience
